To do so, download the current version of proCertum SmartSign software (signing and verification software) from the Certum website. If you already have the proCertum SmartSign software installed on your computer, check the program's home page for the latest version. After installation, you can already start the proCertum SmartSign software by clicking the icon on your computer desktop. To sign a document in proCertum SmartSign software on a PC/Laptop using SimplySign, launch Adobe Reader DC, then open the PDF file you want to sign. After pressing the "More Tools" button and selecting the "Certificates" option, you will see the "Digitally Sign" button, which you should select. At this stage, point to the signature location and select the certificate to sign with which you want to sign the selected file. After pressing the "Continue" button and the "Sign" button, you can enter a new name for the signed file and save it to your disk. The file will be electronically signed as soon as you enter and confirm the correct PIN code.
